My Final Goodbye to Lilly
Lilly was my cat for 14 years, we went through many difficult times together and now I am left without her. She was gently rocked in my arms the night she died. I kissed her on her forehead and told her I loved her. Put her in her bed and left her in a dark quiet room to die.
I am walking around with a void in my heart that aches with sadness for my loss. I still am dazed in disbelief that Lilly is no more.
Lilly looks so peaceful and I keep on expecting her to awaken from her rest. The reality of her death has not fully set in.
